One of UK's top Telecoms companies selects industry leading program management solution from PMG

"The group IT division of one of UK's leading Telecom's companies is to introduce Hydra to accelerate its project and program management capabilities."

Hydra Managementplc today announces that a major UK telecoms company based in the North has selected Hydra. The Hydra software suite will enable it to accelerate its program management, benefits / project portfolio management and timesheet management across the Group IT division. The Hydra suite will be introduced on the company's MS SQL ServerTM and an aggressive fast-track implementation is planned to be completed by the end of April 2004.

Hydra was chosen after a rigorous selection process including systems from Niku, Epicor, and Business Engine. Hydra was selected primarily because of its scalable integrated suite, offering resource-centric, multi-project, multi-site planning capabilities. Its patent, intelligent pre-emptive resource scheduling will allow the Group IT division to successfully plan and implement multiple simultaneous projects without the restrictions of discrete task-centric project management applications: enabling them to deliver against increasing operational requirements, regulatory standards and deadlines and measure / demonstrate the value of IT investments.
