Insurance giants adopt IT Program Management Software - Hydra from PMG

The Information Technology Group at Lloyd's of London have recently introduced a resource management function; Hydra, from Hydra Managementplc aimed at introducing greater flexibility and efficiency in their use of people and also to improve planning to enable them to react rapidly to changes and meet current and future user commitments.

Jerry Adley, IT Resource Manager at Lloyd's of London commented, "The replacement of our basic time recording system with a more comprehensive application will allow us to manage our tasks at a strategic program level, and is a critical move to achieving our objectives." Adley continued, "We were immediately impressed by the Hydra system's capability for program and project planning, and we are already looking forward to achieving early benefits from the implementation at the beginning of 2003.
